Derek Roman is a major character in the first season of Hit the Floor. One of the ringleader/star basketball players of the L.A. Devils and is played by McKinely Freeman and debuts in "Pilot".

He's mischievous, handsome, and sexy. Also determined to win Ahsha over. Derek is a nice guy and he does remind me of Pete Davenport.

My Favorite PartsEdit

My Favorite Parts were when Derek kissed Ahsha in the elevator during the blackout "Lights Out". My other favorite part was when Derek and Ahsha hooked up "Turnover".

He comes in with a few other players to check out the girls auditioning for the Devil Girls and immediately takes a fancy to Ahsha -- who does what she can to deflect his advances but can't deny that there's definitely a spark between them. He finally got the girl of his dreams until his wild past caught up with him and they broke up. After realizing his worth and understanding the fact that he deserves a great woman like Ahsha Hayes, he finally faced his demons by cutting ties with his mother, hangers on, and coke, he got his act together and made vow to fight for ahsha at all costs. He finally got back his woman, they got engaged and there set to be married this summer. (Pilot)
